I know this topic is brought up often but haven't seen anything that is too current. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will nicely point me in the right direction . Going to be in downtown Chicago for a work trip in a week and a half...blah blah blah (yes I'm going to be that guy). Only going to be there for one night and get in late (after 9pm on a Saturday). Wondering if BCS is still available at any downtown area bottle shops (not bars)? Have done some research and know some late night shops to check...just wondering if someone can help me narrow it down. Going to have a car but would like to stay relatively close to downtown if possible. Thanks!
Doubt you'll have much luck at all in the downtown area. There are really only a handful of decent bottle shops in the loop area and to my knowledge they have been picked dry. If I run across it, its at a random small shop in the neighborhoods somewhere. Haven't come across it recently though.
There were a few 4-packs on the shelves at Best Value out west of the city on Roosevelt a few weeks ago. Probably $27-$30/4-pack.
Great thanks for the responses so far...really appreciate it! Sounds like I will have to venture out of downtown and try my luck at some local neighborhood shops. Might even try to setup an IP trade. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.
You'll have better luck finding it in Nebraska than in Chicago. Good luck, maybe you find someone who would like to make a trade...
Seems to me that if you want to get BCBS in the Chicagoland area, you aren't going to find it downtown according to beermenus. Some of the places that still have it are well southwest of downtown at prices of like $29.99/4pk as far as I can tell. I was interested in seeing if there were any left, but I just blew all my April beer money on KBS today, so.

I could trade you some depending on the trade and when/where you would be. I am pretty far west, but often look for excuses to go to Revolution. BM me if you need some bottles.
