BCS on tap in Chicago?

Not to be obnoxious, but any update on this. Land in CHI in about an hour. Could use a night cap

 

Check the places already mentioned, a few should still have BCBS. Sounds like O'Toole's does

 

Lincoln Station had coffee 2015 and 2014 in bottles this afternoon. Seems like their BeerMenus is pretty up to date.

They tapped 2014 Barleywine, 2015 Barleywine, regular BCS, and 2015 Prop.

Sizable flights of the four for $25. And they've got some regular bottles for sale in the liquor store at something like $12 or so. Very reasonable.

 

Lincoln Park Whole Foods (on Kingsbury) was supposed to be tapping Regular and Rye today at 6, and the DePaul Whole Foods was supposed to be tapping Regular and Barleywine. I'm pretty sure the West Loop one was supposed to be tapping something as well, presumably at least the regular. Not sure how long all those will last - I would've loved to get to the Rye tapping, but family obligations prevented it.

 

The taproom on Fulton has two rotating taps dedicated to BCS Variants. Had Coffee and Barleywine flowing like a waterfall today. $7 for a solid pour.

 

Yeah, I was there too, but I'm a little unclear how it works. Is it every 3rd Friday of the month like they claim, or are they just doing EVERY Friday right now?

 

I think they're just on a roll now in the short-term window after this year's release. They've had some variant on tap every night since Black Friday. It would be great if they kept it going for awhile (since I haven't had a chance to get over there yet), but my hunch is that they do it this weekend and then stop.

 

Also stopped in for a quick pour of Barleywine before heading out of the city. They also had all of the Black Friday merch, including the Rare Day bottle openers.

 

Prop kicked at Crown Liquors at around 7 pm but they still have BW 14 -15 and regular 15 on tap

 

Any NW burb tips for tonight would be greatly appreciated! Bigbys? Kumas? Anything around Schaumburg, AH, BG? Thanks!!

 

Jb's inn in Wooddale has 14 BCS on tap and Bigby's Addison has BCBW on tap.

 

Where is BCBS on tap today in the city? I know Timothy O Tooles has had kegs lingering. I've also seen some untappd logs at Hopleaf, crown liquors, and the goose island on Fulton.

world of beer naperville tapped a keg of regular yesterday. place was empty so i'm sure it's still there today. and on the 12th they're tapping regular, coffee, barleywine, prop, vanilla rye.

 

The General, on California and Logan, has regular on tap.

 

Having one at Third Rail Tavern on Madison. Solid pour as well. Price TBD
