Honestly, who really believed that this would last longer because it was Whirlyball? Chicago BAs would show up uninvited to a funeral reception if a keg of Prop was rumored to be there. The only way something like this lasts more than an hour is if it's unannounced or prohibitively expensive.

 

Hey Scot, how crowded?

 

Not too crowded, with the regular parties there's maybe 200. There are plenty of open seats, but it's a big space. Cherry Rye was 22 minutes, prop was 15 according to some guys sitting at the bar.

 

Great turn out, even an extended cameo by the man himself Mr. Porter! Well done Whirlyball & @Higgity!

 

I'd say if you were there at 7 you could have easily gotten Prop and Cherry. The bar was not real crowded but when everyone is ordering 1 Prop and 1 Cherry, it's gonna go quick

 

Uhh... no. I was there at 6:30 and it wasn't crowded at all. We grabbed a stale Dale's Pale and some food and a seat towards the back by the arcade games. Around 6:50 we moved to the bar area and were one person back from the bar. I didn't get a glass of the Prop or Cherry Rye and left dejected and questioning life itself. Could have been better run.

 

Got ya. I was there at 6:30 and was next to the bar at 7. I got my beer and moved away to make room for people behind me and thought people at least 2 deep got a pour.

 

southport lanes has prop bombers. i forgot to get the price. they also have just the standard BCS on tap right along with the abyss and espresso oaked yeti. not too far from whirley ball.
