I need these two in order to complete my set of BCS Variants through out the years. I've seen some people asking what seems to be very little in return for both (IMO), but realistically what sorts of things should I be offering to try and get these two? I've got '13 and '14 Huna, KBS, FFF BA stuff, I know that stuff is somewhat easy to come by, but I have no idea what would be fair.

    Any help is appreciated.

what BA fff stuff? not sure youll be able to land those for the stuff you have listed unless is far above $4$ and that still may be tough. Chances are people with those 2 bottles can get the stuff you have listed without giving those bottles up.

FWIW vanilla isnt worth going after anymore and Rare isnt either. Hurts to say because Rare used to be one of my favorite beers and one of the best when it was in its prime I would say about 16 months to 2 years ago.

FFF BA stuff is the only thing that might land you Rare or Vanilla. None of the other stuff will..

Just did all the Variants last month and it was an EXCELLENT tasting.. if you need any advice on how to do it once you get them all. BM me.

    What else do you have?

If you find the right person you can go quantity for quality. I got lucky and had to give up 100$ worth of Shelf beer. With some heady involved and I was able to land RARE.. Was Rare worth the 100$ in beer I gave up… NO!! But was the 100$ i gave up to get Rare to complete my vertical tasting worth it… YES.. TOTALLY.

    Hope this helps a little

Depends on how well these bottles were cellared, but I for one can testify that BCBVS is still drinking really well.

I have one last rare and I'm gonna drink it, but the last 3 I had you could tell they were oxidized. Starting to become a cardboard mess

I've had both Rare and Vanilla around a dozen times over the past few years and both are essentially shells of their former selves. It's not like they're drain pours or anything, but really only 70% of what they once were.

Our group just acquired those 2 bottles and it took
VSB and DB Huna to do it.

Your group, and your location, would have me draw the conclusion that Jimbo (lonewolfcry) is a member of it!
