BCS Rare

I saw a post looking for Prop and Vanilla rye for a Rare but didnt see anything about it getting done. Like you said with the way they are trading now it might be a stretch but you never know until you try.

Rare trades 1:1 with DB Huna, and I've seen a few of these "3 Prop/Vanilla for DB Huna" trades, so there you go

It certainly should. Rare is an amazing beer and way more limited in #s at this point - wait until the BCBS hype dies down in a few weeks and you'll be good.

 

Last year I traded Rare for 3x Prop without issue. This year, nothing makes sense. I'm giving up on trading for BCBS for a few months when the value is less inflated.

 

Yeah I can't even get a feel for what 1 Vanilla alone is trading for. I've been trying combo's starting with Pirate Bomb or FSW XVIII and no responses at all.

 

I dont think it will get any better. Even with more bottles, everywhere got less. In most places you either got one or the other, rarely both.

Ive even seen in some eyes 2013 prop < 2014 prop. its just insane

 

I've offered CFH, T25, GM and MW for coffee and prop. All crickets. Speculation is too high, everybody is holding out for better and better offers.

 

Prop: 1:8 BCBCS
Vanilla: 1:6BCBCS

Ive seen Prop go for 3 JK sours+ (One of them being MvB or Fen Tao)

Ive seen Vertias 14 2 bottles go for 2x Prop + Vanilla

 

I still think it has to shake out. demand higher than backyard last year but supply the same. but Vanilla is trading more than 2x as high as Backyard did last year.

and - did Vanilla actually go to more markets than Backyard did last year?

 

I saw Vanilla locally this year where we didn't get any Backyard last year. Sure, its a small sample size, but...

 

Colorado got coffee and Backyard last year (in addition to regular and BW). We got only regular and very limited BW this year...no Vanilla, no coffee. So at least for one state, no on the Vanilla.

 

Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Vanilla Rye actually only showed up in a few states, specifically only in states where Goose Island was having some kind of "Black Friday release party".... I know it showed up in IL, CA, TX, FL, MA, NY, PA, beyond that I'm not sure how many other states actually got Vanilla Rye...

 

Curious, how many bottles of prop and coffee were you asking for? If it's all 1's and 1-4 of coffee, this is an insane offer.

 

Asked for 2x Prop for T25, same for CFH
Asked for 4x Coffee for Grey Mon/Mocha Wed

Oh, and I was offering IP in Chicago.

 

A little less insane, but still not sure how either of those didn't get done.
