    Picked up 4 bottles earlier tonight. Got the impression they had plenty. Tap list was excellent as well.

    So how do you guys think the Mocha Machine release will go? Will I have to be there when they open?

    System of a stout sold out in four hours. My guess is mocha will go faster. But if you get there at open you should be fine.

    Really depends on when they do it. System was a Saturday release with limit 6. Like if they do a weekday, then it will last a bit longer. I hope they do it mid month, but might be early August.

    They said Aug. 18th earlier in the thread. Is it usually released at both locations?

    Really? Tuesday release? I don't see that anywhere. They normally do, but seal beach only gets like 5-10 cases and sells out in 30 min

    For once a photo with some foam on the beer! Browsing around instagram yields a lot of no-head pours, these new johnny come lately tickers still don't know the value of a nice head of foam (and I'm talking about beers other than BA and sours)

    I got a very healthy thick off white head on my first bottle pour yesterday, but usually higher alcohol beers do not have heady pours, the head on Hopernicus does dissipate pretty quickly though.

    Hopernicus is killer.

    was just at Bill's and saw they have BA Full Metal Jacket. 27 something.

    It's not that I can't afford it, but that's a pass for me. On principle. Admittedly haven't tried it, but I'm not that crazy about the non-BA version so that made the decision easier for me.

    Only two bucks more than at Beachwood. It's killer IMO. One of the best BA scotch ales out there
