What does cellar maker have on tap?

 

Yesterday they had Underneath the Pines (which was excellent) and I See a Dankness (good also). I didn't see Citraholic for some reason, and they also had Mocha.

 

Haven't had HKF. One of only a few BW IPAs I haven't had. How's this compared to the Hop series? Worthy of bottle purchases? HKF releases on Saturday at 5pm? Or 1130am? Should be busy. But not as Mocha or System release. Amalgamator should be the normal 1130am release.

Anyone going today? I'm hoping it doesn't sell out too early. Trying to get over there to snag a couple of bottles.

 

It will last probably a few days. Doesn't coincide with any stout release.

 

That's what I'm figuring (and hoping).

 

so who went today? How was it?

 

I went yesterday at noon for lunch. Very quiet, sat at the end of the bar next to the "Line for Bottles Starts Here" sign. In the hour I was there one person walked up to the sign to buy bottles (there was a steady amount of people buying bottles at the bar after they finished their drinks/food). After a while one of the Beachwood employees took down the sign and put it away...guess it wasn't needed, at least at that time of day.

All in all, very quiet and slow. As for taste, Amalgamator is great as usual.

 

Who's willing to pick up a bottle of Hop Kong Fooey for me? Id like to try this one, but unfortunately, I will be heading out of town friday morning. I can offer a can of Heady, Sip of sunshine and/or cash. I live in HB area and can pick it up. THanks for your time.

 

Is Hop Kong expected to sell out fast? I can't make it down there until 4ish, think it will be done by then?

 

It does say limited release... so, I'm thinking it will, even though the IPAs don't usually.

Wont be able to make it until 2 was hoping it was on tap last night but no luck. Hopefully they are still available 2.5 hours sell out? I think I should be ok...

 

First time bottle release….new beer...limited….$10ea….on a Saturday….a dog day afternoon.
Not knowing how many bottles (cases). And this is NOT being sold at BWSB. I would say woof….yes it may sell out in a couple of hours or later in that day. I doubt this one will go out for distribution. Except for a couple of place nearby BWLB that get the special releases. Not sure how many bottles we will be limited to one this one. For most IPA releases it's a 11 bottle limit. Regardless I'll be there for lunch. And bottles, if it's worthy of a bottle or two. One bottle for sure just on the art work. Woof.
