I can't tell if that's a good or bad thing, I wasn't a fan of Mocha Wednesday. From what I remember of it it, it tasted more like burnt coffee.

my god that lineup sounds amazing

Not nearly as fudge-y or chocolatey and sweet. More coffee forward as has been said

I'm talking Mocha Wednesday, I liked Mocha Machine but my thinking is that the Wednesday and Tovarish are similar enough.

Mocha Wednesday is a huge 18%+ abv BA stout that contains not just coffee but chocolate.

Doesn't have much in common with Tovarish. I'd give it a try if you liked Mocha Machine

Tovarish is my favorite beer by Beachwood, and that's saying a lot given what they crank out.

I will be there bright and early for this one.

I've never had Toravish myself, but wouldn't it be along the lines of Stone's Imperial Russian Stout 2013 Odd Year Release with Espresso beans? Regardless, I'm pumped for this! Mocha Machine blew me away, and I love me some System of a Stout so I can only hope this is as good or better! And those cask treatments sound like the bees knees!

Tovarish is quite a bit more coffee-forward and complex than the IRS Espresso. Then again, it costs three times more too.

I thoroughly enjoyed MW (B1) and SotS is my personal fav Beachwood brew, but Tovarish is the best coffee beer I've ever had. Hell, it's the best cup of coffee I've ever had.

Oh new money. Tovarish is a lot more complex than Stone IRS, and a lot more coffee forward. I love that they're bringing back the Russian menu for that day. I missed that last year.

Tovarish is just like Stone IRS. Yes, definitely not more complex and indulgent. Please go buy Stone IRS and leave all the Tovarish for me.

Is there a place you can go to check what bottles they have for sale at the Long Beach location? Thinking about stopping by tomorrow night and getting a bottle or two to take back with me on a flight, and won't have room for growlers. I couldn't find anything about to go bottles on their website, facebook, or instagram.
