Even knowing the aim of the propagation series, if people had a bunch of average beer from the blendery it is definitely going to affect their expectations of future releases.

I'm definitely not denying that. I just think "a lot of damage" might be extreme. I believe people are sitting these releases out because they aren't necessarily the most exciting things out.

I bought a couple of the Prop series beer at Mr K's last time I was in the area and they were Berliner's....both were good..nothing spectacular, but its a Berliner...they usually aren't spectacular. My understanding of the Blendery was they were taking a scientific calculated approach to wild ales. I have been excited to try their fruited offerings since they announced the blendery, based upon the reputation of Beachwood and Julian. As far as what gets hyped and what doesn't..I really don't care and stopped trying to figure that one out a while ago plus its all fueled by trading, and I'm not a big trader.

I thought the Prop beers I tried were all solid, but nothing exceptional, other than the coconut one, which I thought was great.

I'm curious how the Apricot will be. Feel like the fruit has been pretty subtle in most of their fruited beers. The single barrel experience stuff (especially that blueberry) has been much more fruit forward

Got to try everything there over the weekend. As others are saying, the single barrel blueberry is fantastic. I hope they bottle this. Everything else is tasting wonderful. If their lambics are this good already, I can't wait for what is yet to come.

I will be in the Beachwood Blendery tasting room this weekend, for those of you wanting to come in and learn about the science behind our barrel room and our new and upcoming core beers.

    Cheers,
    -V
