Of course I'll be all over this one but I question the overabundance of the hop and grain bill, 8 hops and 8 malts could become very busy. It's either going to a brilliant beer or a convoluted mess, I don't see a middle ground with a recipe like this. Bring it on !!!

I regret to report that breakfast service ends at 11:15! I get it during the weekdays but give me that sweet, sweet 11:30 end time during weekends! That's peak breakfast time!

I probably can't make it but does anyone know when they'll be announcing more details? I know about the can release and the guest beer bar, but are they roasting whole pigs this year? Is DJ Lexakhan going to be there?

 

Yep another pig roast, but i think only 1 this year, when last was 2?

 

DJ Lexakhan is back, and also another DJ later in the day. There will be performers as always too.

I'm now unsure when I'm going, we usually try to go in the AM, but sometimes it's way too loud there. It's also my birthday (well, it's on Sunday) and there's the Bottle Logic thing, and I can pick-up at the Dojo too.

Hopefully I'll at least see some of y'all. I'll likely be wearing an obnoxious Magikarp t-shirt.

 

Didn't get around to trying Hopular Cluster. Thoughts on it? That Double Gator was pretty good. I was mostly hitting the guest taplist and the dry hopped Loma Prieta.

 

Hopular Cluster was good. I’m not a huge fan of the hazy beers but it was an easy drinker with a unique taste. Double Gator was my favorite along with the Cellarmaker Mo’ Nelson. Picked up a crowler of the Gator, glad they were available.
We finished out with Udder Love beer float which I thought was great.

 

Anyone get a random fill of orange juice with their Tart Simpson from Gene? That was awesome.

...though if Gene sees this, I thoroughly recommend Kern's Mango Nectar instead.
