If memory serves me right, we only got a little under 2 months til System of a Stout comes back!

Wonder what variants they'll do this time...

I think it's already slightly included in base beer. I'd like to see a more barrel aged version as base just has liquor soaked chips added.

    BBA-SOAS-V?

I don't like the cardamom. It's too rich and potent. Still a good beer and a bourbon barrel would be awesome.

Has anyone opened a Beachwood 10 lately? The bourbon barrel aged stout from 2016?

We opened one up a couple months ago, but I'm curious too. We have one bottle left, and I want to crack it soon!

Finally got to try BAMM from the bottle last night, versus draft from Saturday. It's much more bourbon-y than what I had at HB. Much better overall, I think. I stand by the idea that it was served a bit cold in the tap room.

Had BAMM on tap last night, pleasantly surprised. Time in the barrel mellowed the coffee and thickened the body. Probably one of their best BA offerings, IMO.

Had at SB last night, I'm thinking it's near the end of the keg as I barely got any coffee but tasted almost as if it was a chocolate bourbon milkshake.

Saving a bottle of BAMM for the really low percentage chance my girlfriend brings out her Triple Chocolate Ice Cream recipe for BAMMalaMode to go with MMalaMode. To compare which is better.

    ....for science.

Cannot wait, SOAS super early this year. But on a Friday sucks

With BW11 they released it on a Friday at 5pm. Perhaps they will wait until 5 again, although that still may suck for you.

I am not the biggest cardomom fan, so hopefully the brandy barrel cuts into it and cuts back on the cardomom flavor.
