Justin at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing Long Beach has put together quite a nice little event that we're all super excited about:

    http://beeradvocate.com/events/info/53501

In addition to the tap list already posted, he's added few more to the bottle list...

    The Bruery Cuvee Jeune
    Hanssens Oude Gueuze
    Hanssens Experimental Cassis
    Hanssens Scarenbecca Kriek

Also, he says the guests speakers will probably start around 6pm - more details will be posted here as they come in...

So just show up and drink awesome beer? Will the beers be available in half-pours or anything like that?

    Any idea about pricing yet?

The event is free to get in and the beer and special menu item prices will be posted closer to the event. The HopCam is always a good place to look for draft prices too...

Add one more to the Ode to Lambic Draft List!

The Lost Abbey Track 3 - a pale sour beer — A blend of two barrels of Mellow Yellow (a popular component in many of Lost Abbey sours), and Phunky Duck (a base beer in the blend that becomes Duck Duck Gooze).

    ABV: 7.55%

Never been to either beachwood. Whats parking like for you guys? Meters? Lot? Structure?

The event is at the Long Beach location which has a few options when it comes to parking. The best option is "The Lofts" parking structure directly behind the brewpub. From 3rd street turn into the alley at the light at Promenade and then left into the structure. We valid parking in there up to 3 hours.

Otherwise there's a city lot down and across the street, or there's metered parking on the street.

Woo, going to Zoo this week, not next. I will be there. What's everyone bringing? Been waiting for a good time to open this Weyerbacher Riserva...
