Just wondering if anyone knows if its all been sold today or not.

If not, considering making the trek into LBC for some bottles tomorrow.

    Appreciate the help.
    Cheers!

when I left, it was pretty much on its last legs. I wouldn't be surprised if it did all sell today.

Was there last night for dinner and grabbed 2. I believe 16 each. Had a 10oz pour. Pretty damn good. Still have bottle from last year. The local stores should be getting a case or 2. The one right behind our house down the street. Check today with Justin.

I was at the Long Beach location last night and the gentleman behind the bar in charge of bottle says said they didn't brew much of SoaS this year. He said they'll most likely sell out by end of today (Thursday). The original email announcement mentioned that bottle sales will be brewery-only this year with no distro. There will probably be a few local shops however that sell these however, grey market or legitimately...

Did a mini vertical last night with a friend who had last year's bottle. Totally different beer with aging. Almost no coffee flavor, less boozy, and more of a raisiny aftertaste. Very tasty. When I got my bottle they were running very low.

Went yesterday - muled for a bunch of people and left with about 7 bottles. Had two pours and ended up sticking around for a lot longer than expected. I think that's a fair indicator that it was rather good  Lots of coffee, spice seemed light to me (vs something like... Bomb) Solid.

I definitely agree, more spice would have made this beer so much better. The coffee was a little overpowering.

Bottles are available. Sounded like there may be enough bottles to go into the weekend. I think a little age will benefit the beer, I'll put one away for 4-6 months and see what its like without the powerful coffee bitterness

I still see a few boxes left, just had a half pour, not a fan, too much coffee presence.

Doesn't sound the same profile as last year... maybe its the beans. In any case, hope to get to try it soon.

Many people mentioning the coffee as being very strong. For anybody who has mentioned this or thinks this, have you had previous years on SoaS to compare against? I am trying to figure out if there is that much more coffee than previous years or if this is just the impression to people who have not had it before. Also, this beer has a lot of unique flavors that also come from the Armenian brandy soaked oak chips. All of these elements blend nicely together, but pack quite a mouthful of flavor. So is it possible that the collection flavor punch that distinguishes this from a regular imperial stout, may all be getting described as the "coffee?"

I actually thought last year's was way more coffee intensive. The coffee it's still very much there but it's much more well blended

Was the limit for this release always 6 bottles? Also, they had bottles today (as previously stated), but not on draft.
