My favorite beer to have on Nitrogen tap in our basement was Beamish. I liked the accessibility of a fairly low alcohol stout with the creamy mouth feel & the subtle cocoa in the finish. Can anyone give me suggestions on something close to this to try? Something I can actually get here via a distributor of course. Sadly, there isn't a local stout.

You can always check for something like Young's Double Chocolate.

As a stout lover, I've found Beamish And Murphy's to be equally good. Beamish isn't distributed in my area anymore, so I stick with Murphy's.

Closest option is the obvious - Guinness or Murphy's on nitro.

Young's Oatmeal is good on nitro.

What about finding a Trader Joes and grabbing a 4 pack of Wexfords?

    Cheers!

Murphy's! Young's Double Chocolate is different but awesome and worth trying if you've never had... Beer ice cream float with Young's Double Choc... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

+1 for Murphys. Guinness is just boring in comparison.

Not sure if you can get a keg of this in Missouri, but Victory's Donnybrook stout is really nice.
