Bear Republic in CT

So I know this has been a back and forth subject but at work yesterday my boss told me one of our distro reps said Founders is indeed coming to Connecticut. Usually when distro tells us its accurate but sometimes it takes awhile lol.

 

That would be fantastic. They are, by far, the one brewer that I really wish that we had access to.

 

Please Founders,please.....I can go for a Centennial I.P.A. right bout now.

For what its worth,I was told by a reputable beer manager in Milford last week that Green Flash and Sixpoint will be here at the end of may....Oh,I can only hope......

 

Amen to that! Sixpoint is definitely coming and I really hope GF does too but I have no idea when it will happen. The sooner the better!!

 

Yeah I hope this doesn't happen with Founder's, GF and Sixpoint. Right now where I work we have the GI ipa, 312, honkers, nut brown, sofie, Matilda and Pere Jacques. I really hope we can get some rare some time in the future.

 

Ithaca Flower Power has been around for a while....draft and in bottles.Bottles don't come in abundance but lately I have seen more of em around.Just not at every store.Usually it seems that select stores will get F.P. It was on draft just this past weekend here in southern,Ct.

I heard from a friend in the industry that they were looking to hire a Founders rep for CT and that it should be on the shelves before the end of Summer. I hope they are right.

 

There are some bottles around in Danbury.

Really excited. Was hoping what I heard was correct.

 

I told myself I wouldn't be buying Goose Island beers, but I've managed to order Matilda and Nut Brown on tap in the last week alone. Sigh.

Pretty psyched about some of these others though, Tröegs especially.

new distributor is starting with a few breweries (GF/Sixpoint) and hoping to expand to 36 by the end of the year

 

GF and Sixpoint would be awesome additions to CT beer selections and Founders would be amazing. Here's hoping it comes to be!

 

I run a liquor store in stratford and I just friday talked to some salesman from CBG and they said within the week for green flash, clown shoes, sixpoint, that firestone walker is going to contract brew with two roads for freshness purposes and that founders is def coming but its supposed to be beyond hush hush. If anyone wants more details they can swing by Windsor Package 3700 Main St. Stratford. I will be getting more info this week from some of the guys associated with CBG.

 

The Founders thing isn't hush hush. They had a dedicated booth at Rising Pint on Saturday. That was their announcement party. They had 4 or 5 of their diffrent beers. Officially announced.
