Agreed, Catalyst is outstanding. A touch green so fresh, so I think the cans may even be better after a week of mellowing. BI's recent DDH Attention Please (with Vic Secret and Mosaic) is my favorite to date, but Catalyst is right up there.

 

Has BI made it to Memphis?

 

I believe their distributor doesn't send anything to Memphis.

 

Never heard of these so I googled them. Holy crap! $100 for a 12 can shipper? I have like 3 styrofoam ones a guy from work gave me. He gets them from a beer of the month club. No way they should cost that much. Or am I reading this wrong & they are $100 for 12 of them?

They are great, you can buy them at bearded iris here by the box which is nice. I know that they have been sent to a few breweries who sell them as well, i think maybe trillium or tree house might get them .

Travelling to Chattanooga next week from nj. Curious as to my chances in finding any bearded iris at any bottle shops. If so, do they distribute all of their releases or just flagship stuff? Looking for some of their neipa/ddh type stuff..any info is appreciated.

 

You should be able to find most of the flagship and newest releases around Chattanooga. I don't know the exact stores, but check out the BI Facebook page and it seems once a week they are sharing a post from a shop there that has their stuff in.

I live in Nashville (close to BI) and Chattnooga has the flagships and occasional special releases. A quick google search showed me this place.

The DDH Double Scatterbrain w/Citra that dropped last week is absolutely killer.

BI posted about an hour ago that they were putting imperial stouts into 20 yr old Pappy barrels. Hopefully they let it sit in those barrels until this time next year!

They already had one sitting in barrel , just never told alot of people but locals who they know really. Crazy to think they got multiple barrels now
