Beatification 003, what does it take these days

Rare? I remember a guy having trouble trying to get a Rare 1:1 when shopping a Beat B3 or BT'09 bottle. I'd think something in that range.

 

I think a Batch 3 for a Rare is fair on both sides

 

Eh, no way I'd trade an 003 for a Rare. I wouldn't trade it for 2 of them.

I sorta see all three of those beers being right at the same level right now, but what the hell do I know, lol.

You've been unable to trade an 003 Beatificaton for a Rare?

 

I just had batch 2 and 3 and while they are both great, batch 5 was my favorite. I'm guessing it would take a DDG level beer to land an 003.

 

I would say a blabaer would, or CC12 or >$4$4 on highly thought out loons

 

I'd think you could get one without giving up a Blabaer or CC'12. I'd think a 375 Blabaer would snag one quite easily.

Probably something like a Lente + or a Fou Foune + St Lam (or LP Kriek/Fram/Gueuze) combo.

 

I doubt it. I would do that instantly which tells me it wouldn't happen

 

Yeah, who knows, lol. I'd think long and hard before giving up a St Lam and Fou Foune for a Beat B3, especially since I'd probably be able to snag 4 bottles of Beat B5 for those loons.

I think the trade value of beat B3 really hinges on the novelty of the 750ml format.

 

Traded a Brandy DL about a year ago for a Beat B3 + Temptatipn B4 (750ml).

 

Batch 3 took me forever to land. I got one last year for a Black Tuesday, two Weyerbacher Reserva, two Temptation and I gave the guy a Batch 5 after it came out, albeit much later. Black Tuesday was his biggest want.
