What time do they begin selling cases tomorrow, Sunday? 9 or 11am?

Sorry should clarify, just standard fills that they do. They don't do sour fills.

Thanks for the clarification. What are they charging for Beat on draft?

$7 on draft. Its like drinking bits of heaven.

Met a random.BAer in line at 530. Had my first Zombie Dust shortly after.

FWIW the staff there all said theyve never seen anything like it. A guy who has worked there 8 years said this is the craziest he has ever seen it.

If it is there tomorrow Ill be shocked.

Boggles the mind that RRiver continues to have their head in the clouds when it comes to these releases. I am not there but my buddy says it is an absolute cluster fuck. Only one person at RR who is handling the Beatification sales for the 100s of people in line. A bottle line that suddenly changes locations without warning half way through the morning making people who had been in line for hours have to go to the back of yet another line and basically start over.

I have always been a big time RR homer having grown up in Santa Rosa. Been going to RR since they initially set up shop out at Korbel winery over a decade ago. But the place has completely lost its luster for me over the past year. Surly barkeeps who rival the worst at the Toronado, poor service in the dining room, a refusal to expand their business making it extremely difficult, if not impossible, at times to find their flagship product Pliny. Even more worrisome is the fact they have not added many beers to their rotation over the years. I love Pliny and Pig but is it too much to ask to come out with other IPAs on a regular basis? I mean damn they are pretty darn good at it so why remain stagnant and boring on that front? I never thought I would say it but this RR fanboy would rather spend time on the Lagunitas patio then deal with the madness and nonsense at RR. Perish the though that a Lagunitas sucks sounds much better than a RR ipa right now. Lightning may strike me down.

I hope everyone gets their bottles of Beatification especially those who have spent hours and hours in line. Cheers

I thought it was ridiculous how there were only 2 people at the bar taking orders...seemed like more of a 5-6 person task.

To use a restaurant metaphor, nothing draws people in more than a crowded restaurant. They know exactly what they are doing.

As of 20 minutes ago I heard there were three pallets left. Dont know what that means in quantity but there is still plenty of people walking out with cases. I think this will go much faster than last release.

I...dont think so.. from what I saw, and from everything every employee I asked told me, they're going to sell it until its gone.

I got there very early, it was handled great from what I saw. I got into the dining area a little after 9:00am and stayed for 3.5 hours...service was great considering all the people. They had free food also at the initial opening until about 10:30. Only suggestion would be some sort of number system to help limit the line cutters. I believe they started the day with 1,300 cases..not sure what (if any) the daily limit is.

    Cheers!

    This.

Free food. And as soon as you were seated they immediately took your Beat order. Before my table got our first round of drinks, we had our 5 cases.

The # system would be good. Saw a fair amount of cutting in the front.
