We did, which is why we ended up hopping in the bottle line. It just ended up going slower than the pub line, for all the moronic reasons detailed by Josh and others.

The release was a shitshow, and while I'm glad your experience was good, that was not consistent with the hundreds of folks in the bottle line, for whom the release was a disaster.

Sounds like an extra register (and a couple of extra people to run it) would have cut the wait time for bottles in half. Maybe not too difficult to implement for the future.

I helped her out with the 09 CC at the Cable Car 2013 release, a lovely lady. And she does crazy shit for you regarding beer releases.

No lines at all per a friend. This is when the campout crew try to tell us that the line was part of the fun, and how they got to meet so many super awesome dudes.

I hate waiting in lines. Did so anyways, it took us about 4 hrs (8am to noon) to get to the front. Sat down and had a bunch of food and beer. The pub itself was less crowded than normal, which was nice- I suppose they were really trying control the number of people that were in the pub itself.

Kind of want to go back today...

"Beatification update on this BeaUtiful Sunday Morning: We have about 200 cases left and there was only a handful, maybe 20, of folks in line this morning. There is plenty on draft, FREE parking and Happy Hour all day today if you are able to join us at the pub! Here are some more cute photos from yesterday of smiling happy employees and guests! And Vinnie Cheers!"

Come on buddy. 2013 is all about hoarding cases after cases of rare stuff and hopefully getting something rarer in return. If you ask me how's mine tasted on draft last night 9pm with no lines and no wait, I'd say it tasted not as rare as b5. A friend of mine who waited in the line at noon, witnessed line cutters, and got his case at 4, said he tasted a lot of butthurt. So yea...your experience may vary

comparing tap to the bottles only of last year wont be very telling. in a week or so people will have sent bottles out and opened them and then we'll all know how it tastes

I was in line from 8-Noon. It was great once we got in, but I can't see myself going on a release weekend again. Still made out with 18 bottles of Beat, some of their other beers, and a growler of both Row2 and Defenestration, which may be my favorite beer they make. The Beat was tasting great on tap. It'll be interesting to see how the bottle compares. Splitting one with my father tonight. I'll report back.

Kind of curious how much of this went into the mule network.
