Beatification Release

mid december, actual date not out yet.
friend just visited, big wig in industry and good friends with some employees, thats the info they gave him. already planning my trip!

 

I will be in Santa Rosa on the 9th and Napa the rest of the week. If they do the release that week I will drive back up!

 

Looks Like its December 14th 9am.

Crap the day after I leave back to Texas... This is set in stone or is it word of mouth speculation?

 

It was announced on Russian River's facebook page, so I would assume it's pretty set. Also, they said there is just over 1,000 cases

 

anyone remember when it sold out during the last release? it was over a week after i think...

 

I love the facebook comment which says, '750s?' almost spit up my coffee in laughter.

 

Well, I don't know how much more got produced than last time, but the limit has doubled, so I doubt it lasts nearly as long as last year. It was released at the end of March last year.

 

Anyone care to lay odds that our pal Natalie does not adjust the limits or put on daily case sale limits?

I will bet you a Beat you are wrong this doesn't go 20 days, pending no change in limits or per day case sale limits.

 

Last year was 6 bottle limit at 15 bucks/bottle-bottle purchased for onsite consumption didn't count toward the limit. Lasted nearly a month if I recall. I drove up the day of and even dragged my brother along to mule. Thankfully it was pretty easy to get more than the 6 bottle limit-especially after the first day. After 2 days I had 2 cases. Probably would have bought more if I could have afforded to especially since it really aged well. I think I'll pass this release but for those who haven't been its worth the trip.

 

$18 per 375ml bottle this year. Limit 12 per person. 1000 cases available.

 

well since I will miss it by a day does anyone want to go ahead and setup a trade for a bottle or 2? I can bring whatever with me week of Dec 9th. I will be in Santa Rosa 9th, Napa 10-12, Staying by Sacramento airport the night of the 12th.

I know you guys from Cali like the Jester King stuff and have a bottle of Ol Oi' and can get the censored and the regular stuff. ALso have some Praire Ales Somewhere, Standard, and their other offerings. Also will have some Zombie Dust, Alpha Klaus, Pride and Joy in a few weeks. ALso any texas offerings like Karbach, St. Arnold, Deep Ellum, etc..

Don't think I wanna bother with a giant line of fuckers from all walks of the US coming in on that one day and wait 3 hours. Probably just go anytime during the week after the release.

 

You forgot to factor in the bell-curve of craft beer in the past 12 months alone. I give it 10 days, max. 100 cases a day should be no problem, seeing as how just about everyone in line will be getting a full case.
