I called a few times and asked, and they are limiting Pliny to 12/group as well. From all the people I spoke to it seemed like it was put in place to ensure everyone can get some...which sucks cause now they arent selling growlers of Pliny either...super weak.

 

Aren't selling growlers of Pliny? Wha? Since when? I just got growlers last week.

 

They said this week. Ill be there this weekend, so Ill find out for sure

Well then Im about to bring my growlers with me for a refill!

They arent out of Pliny. I said I was told they are fetting tighter on the bottle limits.

If you want Consc. I go to RRB fairly reg and can keep and eye out for you.

I did promise my beer guy at my local Specs and a friend I would bring them back some Consecration. I like to keep both of them happy as my friend travels all over the US and brings me stuff and my beer guy takes care of me as well....

If they are out and I dont see any at Bottle Barn, in Napa, or in St. Helena I will let you know..

Actually this might be a good thing as it will allow me more space in my suitcase for other stuff for me!

 

Anyone looking to set up a carpool from Southern California? I'd be starting my drive from the Anaheim Amtrak station sometime Friday afternoon. Can pick up on the way along the 5.

 

That was my understanding. I was there alone so didn't face this myself, but was next to a group when the bartender explained the rule to them. However, at least for FfaC, there was nothing stopping individuals in a group from just separately buying their own bottles at the bar.

I guess this is their attempt to control hoarding by people bringing mules.

 

I have a concert in SF till about 1-2am and then I can pick you up if you get that far.

I expect half your bottles as payment for gas money.

I just called RR and they said they limit everyone to 12 bottles, period. If you get 12 bottles of Beat, you can't get anything else.

That said, given the line will be +1 hour wait, where do you park without getting a ticket? You can't leave the line, and street parking is either 1-2 hours...

 

I'd save your place in the line while you fed the meter if you did the same for me
