They aren't selling 1000 cases in one day - no need to get there too early and freeze for no reason.

 

I am hoping it lasts a month again like a year and a half ago. Cause I won't be able to make it up there until after Christmas.

 

Most likely you'd be fine, but they can tow you. It's a private lot for the mall, and Xmas shopping season when there's typically more mall cops.


FFaC had about 250 cases and was intended to promote a month long breast cancer awareness effort where they were trying to raise other donations and raffles, so I'm guessing they wanted it to last longer, so they reduce limits. I'm guessing they don't mind if this sells out in days. T would be less hassle for them.

 

Exactly. People were worried at B5 release, and they had stock for weeks. In fact, they even removed the limit after the first day (or didn't enforce it).

 

Not to mention 20% price increase...

 

Thought about lining up super early just so I can leave RR by 9:45 and be back to SF by 11 for work. I think I'd be better off just visiting them in the following monday with less trouble.

P.S. I miss the old days when I can still find Abyss sitting on wholefoods shelves at mid-august.

Yeah, I mean staying or in making it an early Friday so you can get up and go before opening is one thing, but camping out up to 9 hours (NINE HOURS) to get a beer that there's a thousand cases of?

Parking in structure behind Russian River is like $5 for the whole day almost. If your are willing to drop $18 per bottle on a case of beer, that $5 is laughable.

 

I was at RR on monday and they were out of Pliny and Blind Pig on draft!!! I did buy bottles (pliny was 3 days old and blind pig 1 day).

 

And no one believed me...
