Go to the "Beers" link on the main page of the site. It will show you how many you have at the top of the page.

don't take him seriously. he created a half-dozen accounts to troll beeradvocate both on this site and twitter, and he used to be a regular reviewer under his old id. he wastes plenty of his time on this site. he's just bitter.

    Welome back, you've been missed.

Think of what is going on with this site as being like a post accident tow job headed for a repair shop or possibly to a new car dealership. When the original site, which was a jalopy cobbled together from parts of this and that over several years, was running down the road at 60 mph it got creamed by a passing 18 wheeler. To keep it running at all they needed a new conversation/forum that had to be connected to the old database. Some things that were part of the old fast moving site couldn't be connected to the new boards while keeping both vehicles at least partly connected and still cruising along at 60 per and still letting more passengers climb aboard. (To personalize it a bit, imagine having to change a flat tire on your 50's vintage hot rod while cruising down a busy Interstate at high speed and without being able to pull off to the side of the road and stop.)

So they have the two things, forum and database, loosely tied together in a way that allows us to get from one to the other while still running at 60 per and taking on new passengers. Some of the old vehicle had to be left out of the connection links for the same kind of reasons you can't get favorite parts of your old jalopy built into your 2011 family sedan when trying to customize it.

BTW, if you still have the pic of Cap'n Crunch on your machine, it can be reloaded onto the new profile page an be visible here. But it will just not be connected to the old database.

Good news! You have really thoughtful, insightful reviews. I know it's just beer, but your writing has given me some insight into what's good about being human and experiencing life....
