Anyone been before or have any insight? I will coincidentally be at Foxwoods for a concert that night and wondering whether getting there early for the Beefest. The website has minimal information which generally makes me think it won't be worth it, but happy to hear otherwise.

I think it's spelled "Beefiest". We are talking about a cow convention, right?

for 30 bucks it's probably worth it to get a bit of pre-gaming in before the concert. after some quick research, i'm thinking this is probably along the lines of those liquor store tastings that feature lots of national brands with flagship/seasonal beers and random junk like PBR hard coffee. i wouldn't expect any bonzers at this event and most likely pours from cans/bottles.

I went to either a Mohegan or Foxwoods beerfest years ago and it was all mainstream stuff. Best strategy is to find a relatively local brewery like Grey Sail or Beer'd who I think would be invited to this, and drink their lineup. But it can't hurt if you'll be paying $8-12 a pop for a decent beer at ___ bar in the casino anyway.

The secondary enjoyment of these comes from the people-watching. Some folks think they magically develop an iron tolerance before attending these.
