Beer Abbreviations?

I have seen one floating around but cant remember where it is. Wish people would actually post the name of their beer - hate trying to decipher the forums to figure shit out.

 

Thank you. To the uninitiated, it can be a daunting task to try and engage in convo with some people when you are spending half of the time trying to figure out what FFF and CBS means. The only place that uses more acronyms than the US Governmen?: BA (Beer Advocate...joke....ha).

 

Lot of useful info here including some acronyms though with new beers coming out all the time there are many that probably are not on there and you just need to follow the trading forums regularly to keep up.

Sometimes I get lost because even the same beer has different abbreviations depending on who's using them.

The searching part is the hardest since so many list them by abbreviations in the forums. Would be nice if the forum software picked up on the abbreviations (or variants of abbreviations for one beer type) and auto linked them to the entry in the beer section, provided a hover/tooltip/popup link around the abbreviation, etc.

Until then, we'll just have to ask if we need clarification.
