Sometimes when I'm indulging in my inner gamer, I can't resist sometimes sipping on a beer while playing some of my favorite games. Sometimes, I'll even try to pair a certain beer with a particular game, maybe to match the atmosphere of the game with the beer itself! So does anyone here also like to pair any certain beers with a certain game? And if so.....WHAT?!
Usually only around Halloween..when Im doing a Resident Evil or Castlevania binge..I'l open a Darkness or Undead Party Crasher.
Two of my favorite series + one of my favorite beers (Darkness)? I like your style. I really don't pair specific beers w/specific games/movies/etc., because I drink most shit fresh (so I don't have as many options to choose from ). Also, as has been mentioned in another thread, the game I'm currently playing (Dark Souls 3) is not particularly conducive to being inebriated (unless you enjoy dying constantly).
This is my life... beer and retro video games is my favorite way to relax. Thick stouts and NES adventure games like Zelda, marzen and Gameboy games on the TV, a 40 of OE and Mario Kart 64...
You mean there was a time you DIDN'T play video games with beer? I ran an online group of battlefield players for 13 years called the DrunkenMasters. As you can imagine we drank ALOT while playing. Still do. Sober gaming is for chumps. lol Here's some of us at a get together we had in 2007. And those are DM beer mugs we're drinking out of! Custom made.
PS2 had a Capcom's Greatest Hits package..It was the only game I would play. It had Ghosts n Goblins, Paperboy, Trojan, 1942. That was always fun to play after being a few deep.
Fallout 4, drinking Gwinnett Stout, or sometimes you get lucky and stumble upon "Beer", but I usually cellar those in my fortress/bar #Whalez
RC Pro AM, Micro Machines, Uniracers, F-zero (X), Mario Kart 64 (and 8), Any Multiplayer racing game...Don't Drink and Drive unless its virtual~
I work nights, so on my off days, while everyone else is sleeping, I game and drink. I don't pair anything specifically, but zombie dust does go good with zombie games.
