Ive got some time to kill at the Denver airport this Sunday before a flight. I know the airport is far outside the city, so I won't try to hit up anything outside of the airport. Any good suggestions for bars or restaurants with good beer? I'd really love to find Odell as that is one of my favorite breweries and it kills me they don't distribute to California. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Cheers,
    Kevin

There are New Belgium, Boulder Beer, and Rock Bottom hubs located at different terminals in the airport.

I heard the rail system is eventually gonna connect DIA to downtown. Not sure when, but that will help with access to a bunch of downtown breweries in the future.

Enjoying the green chili right now. Goes well with both mojo and their Indian brown ale, thanks for the suggestion

That's probably a long way off, but it'll be a great thing once it happens. Right now the construction goes almost to I70, but the 225 expanded section is supposed to take another 4 years to complete, and that doesn't include the Pena/I70 portion. We might be the better part of a decade out from seeing the rail line make it to DIA.

They have been talking about that rail system for years now. It is taking forever....

Most of the extensions are (supposedly) due by 2016. The route going over to Golden looks pretty much done, but isn't opening until next Spring. They've torn 225 up for the expansion to I70, but I guess that isn't scheduled to be done until 2016. Ditto with the expansion up to Brighton. The 225 construction looks further along than the northern route (at a glance, I might be wrong) so I'm not sure I have a ton of faith in that one for 2016.

Once it's all done - it should be pretty amazing, though. Right now Munich has a system similar to ours will end up and it makes getting around to different breweries a total breeze.
