I looked in this forum and couldn't find anything, maybe I didn't look hard enough - I'm wondering if someone can give me a good recommendation for a solid beer bar in DC. My friend told me Church Key and Blue Jacket - anything else noteworthy? Thanks in advance.
I really like Meridian Pint, you should also check out The Sovereign if you like Belgian and Belgian-inspired beers ( they have a lot of geueze, kriek, beers like Crooked Stave, etc.).

I was there end of March. This is what I suggest Beer bars : Church & Key, Sovereign in Geogetown (owned by Church & Key group) Brewery: Right Proper People, Blue Jacket, 3 stars I highly recommend Sovereign Blue jacket and Right proper people.
This. I usually end up at Churchkey, Paradiso, RFD, or Bluejacket, depending on what part of town I'm in.
Yeah, highly recommend a drive out to Ocelot and Aslin near Dulles Airport. Ocelot for the great atmosphere and decent well rounded taplist and Aslin solely for amazing beer.

If you even slightly enjoy Belgian styles, I highly recommend checking out The Sovereign in Georgetown. I was there about a month ago and their tap and bottle lists were insane.
The beer list at Eat Bar Barracks Row is a SHOW. Crooked Stave, Jester King, Anchorage, Jolly Pumpkin, Cigar City, Cascade, Tired Hands, Grimm, St Somewhere, Prairie, Omnipollo, Other Half. They have pirate bomb and Autumnal Dichotomous.
That menu is a little old. According to pictures of a menu posted to fb, they have pirate bomb, dc brau otwoa, some other changes but levels of rarity and quality are same or better.
