I'm headed to KC this weekend, and I've never been there before. I'm planning on touring Boulevard - one of my favorite breweries - but does anyone have a recommendation for a good beer bar? That or a nice restaurant with a nice selection or a bar with good beer and good regular live music. I'm seeing Radiohead Sunday night, me and my girlfriend are getting in Saturday morning, so we are looking for something Saturday night.

    Thanks in advance.

The Foundry is a great choice and is right next to McCoy's, which also has great food and house made brews. Flying Saucer is down by the Sprint Center and has a pretty large tap list. Waldo Pizza is a favorite if you feel like venturing south of downtown.

If you make it to Flying Saucer, you might as well hit Grinders, which is nearby. Good food and good beer selection (though not as many taps as FS).

I moved away 10 years ago, but there were two nice spots in my old neighborhood. Waldos Pizza has a decent tap list and a nice bottle list. It is also only a few blocks from the 75th Street Brewing Company.

Edit: I just did some googeling. You picked a great day. Saturday is Snake Saturday in north KC, the pre-St Pats day Parade in the Brookside neighborhood and the Big 12 Championship game is Saturday as well.
