Beer Bars - Mt Laurel Nj/Philly

Monks is in Center City. It is as safe as a city neighborhood is going to be. Assuming you are taking normal precautions, you would not be in any undue danger. I let my wife walk around alone in that neighborhood...

 

As promised, an honest reply: Just what Devilfluff said. The Center City area is very safe, very comparable to downtown Boston. There are always lots of people out walking to/from places, it never feels deserted. Late at night there are plenty of young people out, they may have drank too much, but harmless. The only area I'd avoid is 13th Street area around Locust-Pine. *****y hookers on meth can get stabby.

 

High Street Grill in Mt. Holly had a decent tap list and good food when I was there a few months back. Had Sucks on tap along with other reputable craft brewers and local brewers stuff. Not too far from Mt. Laurel.
