Hello Chicago BA's, Going to a show at the VIC this weekend and looking for suggestions on a place with a good tap list near the venue? Cheers!
Sheffield's is just a block north of there. Local Option is not TOO far away, but nothing will really be as close as Sheffield's. Paddy Long's is a half mile or so away as well.
Yeah, the above 3 options are probably your best bets. You can also check out Headquarters (an arcade bar), they've got a pretty good taplist as well.
Good mention of HQ...I have only been to the downtown location once, but they had some good stuff on tap. I'd also say that you don't need to focus on just being near the Vic, even though the above options are good ones. You can easily hop in an Uber to go to other beer bars (Northdown, Link's, Hopleaf and on and on) or breweries (Revolution, Half Acre, etc.).
