Beer bars or Breweries open on Xmas in CT?

    Hey BA-
    First off, Happy Holidays! Secondly, Wife and I will be traveling to Connecticut Christmas day thru the night. I enjoy her family, but I also enjoy taking a little time away from them too (considering her Parents would watch our Daughter). My question for you locals is if there are any places that you know of that would be open anytime during Christmas? Thanks again and safe hoppy travels!

    I'll be near and around Wallingford area, is CT like Mass in that almost everything is closed? I'm getting the shakes just thinking about it! :astonished:

    I'd venture your best bet would be to leave a six pack outside where it'll be nice and cool, and find some time to disappear into a closet/shed/basement with your phone/book/knitting.

    Haha, knitting, good idea! Hmm, feeling like a strike out for me here. Guess this is why I have beers in my basement!

    Not the best beer list, but i think bar in new haven is open on christmas

    Per their Twitter, Pigs Eye Pub in downtown Hartford is open tonight and tomorrow night. They usually have some decent offerings. Sip of Sunshine on tap tonight.
