Girlfriend surprised me with a hotel in Philly for two nights. Hotel is near the airport but we have Sunday to do anything and go anywhere in Philly. Any suggestions on places to check out that have a great beer selection... I know there are a lot but looking for a place to start. If anyone knows where Cigar City is on tap that would be a plus. I know they distribute a little to Philly. Thanks in advance!
phillytapfinder.com when you come into town. I don't think cigar city drafts are that common except maybe during beer week. Maybe some bottles or cans floating around. Are you in town THIS weekend or is this a future trip? - Joe

HF Edward was on tap at devils den. Phillytapfinder also has a twitter feed to help. I haven't heard of any events gong on today beside a beer fest at one of the iron hill (media). - Joe
As Joe said, just use Phillytapfinder, follow his twitter, or his facebook, and you'll find the goodness that's in town. A lot of our kegs of these good beers kick fast, so make sure that you call the bar before heading over. I recommend Monk's cafe, they have an amazing vintage list (usually Cantillon, 3F, etc). I also recommend Barcade for a good time. Cheers!
We haven't had any new Cigar City kegs in a while. I think that Philly is pretty much cut off from CCB for a while. I'm under the impression that they are trying to fill FL orders first and have pulled back everywhere else, including Philly. I think that we may have a few CCB surprises during Philly Beer Week.
