on the outside chance that the Thunder don't finish off golden state tomorrow night...... any recommendations on a place with decent outdoor, I assume outdoors with the dogs, TV's and some decent beers? thanks in advance!
really, nothing?! guess I'm on my own. probably just grab a sixer of bud light and watch at the hotel. safe travels to all those hitting the road this holiday.
You didn't even say what city you're in. I assume you're in El Paso, despite your Oklahoma tag, can't help you. Sorry. Game 7 back in the Bay. Great series regardless of Winner.
dang, I did forget to say where I was headed! dumb a$$. regardless, Thunder choked and GS is really good. ended up picking up a growler of La Cumbre's VMO to watch at the hotel for the game. stopped at Sierra Blanca on the way in then hit La Cumbre, Starr Brothers. Marble and B2B on Monday and then another run by La Cumbre for more VMO for the game. another great time in NM. wonder why you thought El Paso? cheers!
About eight years ago I was broke and scrounging for quarters behind the seat of my truck so I could get some beer. I of course got me cheep malt liquor 24s (the natural choice when you're broke, lol). So I'm sitting on the back porch and the phone rings, I get up to grab it, and when I get back my entire beer is GONE, and my yellow lab is just looking as happy as can be, tongue hanging out, big smile on his face. That's when he figured out how to knock over a beer and drink it. Of course I know hops are bad for dogs, but luckily cheep malt liquor doesn't have any hops in it (or barely any). But it's too late, my dog has now learned how to knock over a bottle or can and drink it. So I have to be careful with beer around my dog, especially because I usually drink beer with plenty more hops in it than cheep malt liquor. moral of the story: dogs like beer but beer doesn't like dogs, so watch your beer, especially if you have a wiley old yellow lab who plays dumb but is actually pretty friggin' smart for a dog
