Hey everyone, My fiancee and I are in the early stages of planning our wedding. I am very much in to beer and I homebrew. She suggested that we have a beer/brewery themed wedding as long as it is kept classy. So what i'm looking for from this community is any ideas/suggestions you may have in order for me to come up with some decent ideas. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
One of the Mariage Parfait variants or brew your own and name it. An early congrats to what's coming up.
Wonder what the vows entail "I will never stop you from spending money on beer." maybe have the head brewmaster from both your favorite brewery give the sermon, or whatever that dearly beloved speech is
Well, let's see... You could have the bridesmaids dress as the St. Pauli Girls, the fathers of the bride and of the groom as Bert & Harry Piels, throw hops (pellets? whole flower cones?) instead of rice...oh, wait "Classy"... Why not just have the wedding/reception at a brewpub? Seems to me weddings already have a kinda overriding "theme" to begin with - that whole "marriage" thing- why not just subtly incorporate beer? Toast with a favorite c&c 750, etc.
I'm liking the St. Pauli Girls idea. Apparently girls get into having "themes" for weddings. I didn't even know they were themed until starting the planning with the lady.
My wife found a wine ceremony online and modified it to a beer ceremony. Gave us an excellent reason to open up a Melange 1.
my wife and i replaced table numbers with brewery tables. each one was a brewery wehave gone to, and the escort cards had the bottle cap from the brewery. we also gave a bottle of homebrew as a weddung favor.
Now that is a woman you marry. I asked my wife if everyone in our weeding party could walk out to the "Imperial March" from Star Wars and we could then walk out to the theme of Star Wars...almost did not marry me
it's great what she suggested but i would suggest making the wedding more about her and what she truly wants. you could still have kegs of homebrew or maybe spend extra to get some nice beers to enjoy, but by all means make the day about her, it will make that death till we part much easier in the long run.
