I try and just buy a six-pack a week. Doesn't always work out that well though.

A cheap case in the fridge for after you have a couple, and want another is handy. Torpedo at $14 a twelve pack is a great bargain for something good.

Just only buy 4 packs of old rasputin, I don't know how much they cost in your neck of the woods, but around here they only set me back $7.99....really reallllly hard to beat that quality and value.

You can't take it with you, if you have it spend it?

$100 over 4 years is pretty good.

Eating at good restaurants can be expensive, so unfortunately that may not help with the whole spending-less-money thing.

Buying only seasonal/limited releases is absolutely the wrong way to go, as those beers tend to be more expensive. The far better way is to buy inexpensive 6 packs. Sweetwater IPA/Two Hearted? Yes, please.

Get another expensive hobby that takes your money instead.

Usually $40-$50 a month but I just spent $60 on a case of FBS in one day yesterday so that didn't work out.

I try to stick to about 60-70 a month but inevitably super rare release X comes out and there goes the budget :slight_frown:

Do you mean that in the months with said rare releases do you stick to the budget and only drink those few, select bottles, or do you let yourself go over budget?

    And I thought $40 a week wasn't enough...

Usually let myself go over budget unfortunately. Though if I know something is coming I try to stock up on shelf New Glarus 6 pks for if I have a beer after work (6.99 here). That way I can usually keep it in check.

Buy SN 12 packs at Total Wine. For $13 there is no better value

What about rent tho? Rent always gets in my way of spending more on beer!!!
