just went to both beer mongers and bellmont station, i really liked how beer mongers was laid out. also i saw an empty bottle of the schlafly pumpkin ale ontop of the coolers so hopefully they get that soon.. but the Elysian night owl, was bad. glad i only bought 2 bottles of it

Bad???? Hmmmm. Also, bottles at top of those cases are empties from bottle shares. Majority of those bottles were never in the Portland market since people have traded for them.

Night Owl has never been a favorite of mine either, but the other two (dark o' the moon and the great pumpkin) are the ones to look out for. Not sure when they are going to come out, but they are worth it.

Southern Tier Pumking hit the NW recently, too.

As one of the other posters stated above. Elysians pumpkinfest is a must if you're a fan of pumpkin beers. Over 50 pumpkin beers on tap from Elysian and many other breweries. Oct. 19-21 this year. Cheers!

not a fan of pumking at all, tastes like pie crust, and is super boozy, the best high alcohol tasty pumpkin ale i've had was weyerbacher imperial pumpkin... that is 8% and the alcohol is masked very well, with no fake pie crust taste.

There's a bunch more on the way. Besides the Laurelwood and Silver Moon that are pictured in Angelo's post, all of the following should hit town within the next week or two:

    • Elysian Great Pumpkin, Dark of the Moon, and Hansel and Gretel
    • Buffalo Bill's Pumpkin
    • Southampton Pumpkin
    • Shipyard Pumpkinhead
    • Epic (from SLC) Pumpkin Ale
    • Wasatch Pumpkin
Dogfish Punkin and Bruery Autumn Maple will both arrive sooner or later, but probably not until later in the season. Oh, and it's not a pumpkin ale, but Bridgeport's new seasonal Witch Hunt (spiced with the normal pumpkin pie spices) is arriving this week, so that might be worth trying as well.
