Seems like a great time, although we're going on a trip the next day. I still hope to go, but that might be a factor.

I'll be there , either drinking, pouring for our brewery or doing both! Looking forward to this and really like that it's at Civic Center Park!!

If anyone is thinking of getting just one ticket, let me know. Bought one for me and my wife, but turns out she's out of town that weekend. My couple of friends that enjoy beer enough to go to a festival likely can't go, so I'll be happy to sell it to someone. Or get some beer in exchange. Whatever works.

What's your brewery, Saluki? I should know but I don't. PM me if you want...

Freshcraft will have all 12 colaboration beers on draft at 10pm that night. Should be a great day/evening!

You guys are so awesome. Freshcraft is, hands down, my favorite bar in Denver.

That seems high ... just checked and the others are $2.95 for a service fee. Perhaps @sierranevadabill can clarify or look into that.

It's actually $9.45 when I checked again, but half that for the DD ticket. Kinda strange.

Any chance we're gonna know what beers these breweries are pouring before the festival begins? For example, will Russian River only be pouring the collaboration beer or will they bring some other stuff?

I think a beer list will be posted within a few weeks. The final registration information where breweries submit the beers they're bringing was e-mailed just a few minutes ago.

Why is there a cider company involved? Nothing against them, but y'know...it's cider :sunglasses:

We allowed both cider and mead folks to come to the festivals if they wanted. They hold brewers licenses and are repped by the BA so we were cool with them. The more the merrier, I say.

Word. I've never gotten into ciders or meads before until recently. I think it's a welcome addition to the beer scene.

    That's understandable.
I just get a wee bit tired of explaining to customers that cider-beer does not exist, and their confusion minimizes the hard(er) work of brewers when contrasted with millers(?), imho. While ciders can be awesome, having them at beer fests seems to bolster these things.

(The last beer fest I went to last month had several cider companies, one specifically pear. The owner of the pear cider did not know what kinds of pears they used. :grimacing: )

Like beer, there is good cider and bad cider. Many cider-makers I know and love have much in common with brewers. Different sides of this magical coin of tasty fermented beverages!

So in a slightly ironic twist, since I started the thread, I now am not sure if I can make this due to a work event that came up. I don't know if I can get a refund and the website didn't have much info, but I'm looking to just sell both my tickets to someone that is planning and going and hasn't bought them yet. I know it's not sold out, so really just doing me a favor and taking them off my hands, but help a brother out! I live and work in Denver, would be willing to meet in person anywhere reasonably close. Hell, meet me at a bar and I'll buy you a round or two!
