Beer Camp in Atlanta

Already hit Greens and Tower as well I believe.

 

Green's Buford had at least 20 of them when I grabbed one this afternoon. Ponce should have gotten even more, though it's picked over quicker.

 

Really? I find Ponce to not only get more volume (usually), but it seems to last longer too, despite the little extra they get.

 

My local guy ordered some. Whether he gets any remains to be seen.

 

I hope that means Macon will get its allocation of 1 case later this week.

Probably so.. Love Child sat on the shelf at Ponce for a while. I dunno if it's still there, but was for atleast a couple of days I think. That'd be a beer I'd try and stock up on, IMO.

 

I just happened to see a couple of bottles of Love Child #4 at Hop City yesterday...

 

See... Just goes to show folks are all about the new and hot, and whatever people are raving about on BA and whatever else.

LC#4 is a damn fine beer, albeit, expensive for what it is, but it's a beer I look forward to each year. The fair weather craft beer fans in this city will overlook that beer, because it's not talked about much anymore.. which is fine by me!

As for the SN variety packs.. HopCity seems to sell their 1st run fast. I remember back when I used to shop there a fair bit, always went fast, always said it would be a while/never when they got more. Other places in town still had them, and cheaper to boot!

I still have several LC #4, and it's apparently blowing up in hype on the chat boards in town right now. Beer Camp is slated for tomorrow delivery, and I've already gotten three times as many calls as cases I ordered.

 

I just heard that it made it to Gwinnett County. I have one to pick up on my way home, plus the Double IPA. The hype for LC #4 is really deserved IMO.

 

There's probably 2 dozen cases still available at Total Wine in Alpharetta and pretty good possibly they still have cases at the Perimeter location

 

FYI if anyone's still looking for it: There were at least 13 of them at the Kroger on Dekalb Industrial in Decatur when I was there this afternoon. I picked one up when I was there last Thursday - I missed it two weeks ago when a handful of them made the rounds, then when I was getting groceries I decided to walk through the beer aisle on a whim in case they somehow had one, and it turned out they had a whole display of it and a veritable mountain of them! I thought they must have gotten a random shipment and it would be gone pretty soon, but they seem to be going pretty slowly, since they're still there today.... Apparently Hop City got 10 more of them this weekend (no idea if they have any left), so I guess there are still random shipments of it making their way around?

 

Yeah it's gone at Hop City. I got to try half of them at our staff meeting on Sunday.
