Beer Charity Raffle

CHARITY RAFFLE, PLEASE READ

Hey everyone,

So my younger sister got a dog last year, a cute Teacup Pomeranian. My mom had 2 other small dogs that are a little bigger than Kona, the pom. They were living peacefully together for over a year. But unfortunately, tragedy struck last Thursday when one of the other dogs attacked Kona.

Kona's skull was crushed and one of her eyes popped out and was destroyed. She had multiple puncture wounds to her head, neck and shoulder.

She was in the vet ER for a few days after the surgery and her health was improving; though still struggling to move, breath, or do much. Her eyesight returned a bit in the good eye but the situation was looking a little bleak. We got very unfortunate new yesterday that fluid was building in her lungs and that she probably would not make it. My mom had to make the difficult decision of putting her down to keep her from enduring any more pain.

Our family is devastated and heart broken over what happened. We gave the other 2 dogs to county dog services to be assessed whether they were a danger to others; we are praying they pass the assessment and move on to good homes without other animals or small children. And now we've lost our third dog. The house is eerily quiet and we miss them all dearly.

Every day Kona spent at the ER cost our family $1000. So far, the bills have added up to over $9000; with the cost of the surgery and other procedures.

CHARITY RULES:

With the help of good beer friends and my own cellar, I've put together a bunch of beer lots to raise money to help my family. Some are composed of big beers and some aren't, but I want to do my best to offer things people will enjoy. Every $500 or so, I will add another beer lot, and they will increase in rarity/value.

Every $5 gets you 1 number into the raffle. In order to receive your number, please email [email protected] with a receipt of your donation, your name, and the amount you donated. I will email you back as quickly as I can with your numbers (please be patient, I'm in school and work nearly everyday). I will close to raffle on July 23rd, and use a RNG to choose the winning numbers. The first winning number will get first choice, and so on. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me. Yea, ran the raffle last Sunday and we were able to raise over $1200 from beer alone. Big help for my sis and mom.
