beer date/keg date help, breckenridge brewery

ordered a sixlet from a local place and went in a few times to get it and each time they said they didn't have it, they just informed me they have it and I went to pick it up

its a sixlet of Breckenridge Avalanche Ale

the cardboard ring on the top is date marked Mar. 27 which I know isn't the keg/brew date as they had this keg prior to that date

is this the "best by" date? and if so, will I be disappointed in the product, although its only 2 days past date, it will sit in my kegorator for at least a month til finish...

for the cost ($89) of the keggie should I be concerned? lot of $ to drop on old beer

thanks Tebo, i emailed the brewery and thats what they said... they said if it was stored properly it "should" be fine.....

so what's the verdict? do I tap it or do I return it???
