Beer Dinner at Ommegang 10/26

    Hey guys,

    I found out about this on Facebook. $55 for a five course meal paired with 5 ommegang beers. I got tickets for me and my girlfriend and got another buddy to pick up tickets for him and his girl. Should be a great night of beer.

    This will be my first time trying the Duvel Rustica which i am happy about. Another firend of mine visited the store at Ommegang and found a rare bottle of GoudenHop, a hoppy blonde ale only available at the Brewery or a select chain in Texas. very excited for this one.

    Anyone else going to the dinner?

    That sounds great. If you'd like to stay a bit closer to home there is an Ommagang Beer and Cigar Dinner at The Porter House Prime Steak House and Cigar Bar in Montvale, NJ on November 14th. www.porterhouseusa.com it's $125 including tax and tip for guests that are not cigar lounge members, $100 for members. It includes a 5 course meal each paired to an ommegang beer. Three hour open bar, two premium cigars. I have been to several of the dinners, this is the first Beer dinner though mostly have revolved around Single Malt Scotch.

    check out the innatcooperstown http://www.innatcooperstown.com/ I did a bed and brew package there and it was quite possibly the best vacation i have ever been on. The owners are great and really know how to have a good time. From now on, its about the only way i will do Cooperstown if i am staying there

    Oh, Goudenhop is out? I can't wait for that beer, it sounds amazing.
