Could someone please hook me up with the link to the site. I can't remember the name of the site. Thanks!
Cool site, but I see a lot of stuff missing. I'm wondering if they only consider certain size micro breweries. i.e Knee Deep and Iron fist are too smal...
If anything is missing or wrong there is a contact part to send to them, I have been meaning to do so as there are a lot of updates that need to be done.
seekabrew uses nickd717's distribution spreadsheet. Since the new site integration has taken place, he doesn't seem to be on BA much at all anymore, so, updating the spreadsheet may have fallen to the wayside. As Hanzo said, there is the ability to contact the site operator. Since nickd717 may not be dedicated to the spreadsheet anymore, we should all reach out to seekabrew to keep our respective markets in tip top shape.
If you would rather have the whole spreadsheet in front of you rather than the map, it is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ap6d1DIcENXqdHgwd3ZNeTJBellDWFpuQTRKR0FiekE&hl=en#gid=0 nickd717 is no longer on BA.
Knee Deep and Iron Fist are both on my backlog of stuff to add. To me, the intention of the spreadsheet and map is to help people that are travelling or trading, not be the end-all database of beer. Which is why, in the case of draft-only nano-breweries that just distribute to their respective cities, I've generally shied away from adding them to the list (because they would be impossible to find without further granularity to the map). Which means that for new brewery requests I have to go check the website and try to get a feel for whether they have some legitimate distribution or are bottled/canned. It's a slow process so I tend to take my time. SeekABrew literally pulls data from the spreadsheet at set intervals, so they are generally in sync. Email or BM me with updates. They will get up there eventually.
I wasn't trying to knock the site at all, it's pretty awesome with the map feature. You are right it is a great tool for those traveling out of state. Cheers
Can't say for sure, but he disappeared just before the Blackout. I was told that he was just too funny, and therefore he was banned from the site.
The seekabrew site rules and is indispensable. I appreciate all the work that went into creating it and continues to go into creating it.
