I am having a lot of trouble finding any information on beer distributors or how to contact them. I see a lot of people saying that they call the distributors to find out when whatever beer will get to their local shop. How do they find out who the distributor is and who to call etc. I've spent a lot of time on Google but to no avail. specifically I am looking for MA and NH distributors.
Many of the good one have active twitter feeds. If not, I'll call, learn the delivery schedule (store the day of the week in my phone contacts) and then make it a point to call back when I'm looking for something specific on the day/week before.
Nothing under "beer distributor New Hampshire" or MA when googled? that's odd. Check out the L Knife website, they are pretty big in the NE. https://lknifeandson.com/welcome
Many breweries list what distributors they use in what region / state, etc on their websites..... If not, I am sure a trade association or a google search for your area will turn up some.....or try the "phone book"!

There's probably a few more, but if they are distributing SN, they are probably taking care of alot of the nation's top breweries.
a lot of them have instagram accounts, Facebook pages, etc. just reach out, they're usually pretty accessible.
Was just going to post the same link. I worked for them in the late 70's early 80's. Unless things have changed their distribution area runs from Weymouth south and includes the vineyard and Nantucket. Forget the name that does every thing north of Weymouth. I know there are other that handle a lot of the craft beer but again can't remember the name. Plus a few local breweries like Mayflower self distribute.
(At the risk of dating myself): Check the Yellow Pages under "Beer & Ale - Wholesale". Also, the TTB has pdf of every licensed alcoholic beverage wholesaler in every state at http://www.ttb.gov/foia/frl.shtml under "Alcohol Wholesaler Permit Lists" (obviously these include wine and/or spirits companies as well as beer distributors).
