True, and point taken. But mine keeps more than just the beer comfortable.

Also thinking from the perspective of a married person (which OP may/ may not be), I can only imagine the shit I'd get if I went to great lengths to keep my beer cool while my family and I sweated it out.

Lol good point. We non-married folk have different priorities. :sunglasses:

But then if the a/c s getting fixed maybe better to save the money.

This is not an emergency. The beer is the least of your problems if you are looking at a week in Florida in July with no a/c. What are the beers that you are trying to save just out of curiosity?

Start mailing them all out to people who have A/C. I can provide my address if needed...................

oh yeah, it was a post from a few months ago. Can't remember the thread title but the OP was finally persuaded into buying a cheap Styrofoam cooler to keep his beer cold. It was inspirational how a bunch of Ba's got together and explained this lost soul how to keep beer cold

As others have said, it more than likely has been in a hot shipping container, on a truck or railcar that has exceeded 90 degrees. It will be fine, it is not ice cream.

Drink the German beers pronto, the Belgians will survive. They're a resilient bunch.

"Camping" fridge. Put them in one inch of water and wrap them in wet towels that touch the water surface. The evaporative cooling should get you 15 degrees. I do this with home brew fermentor and it works. Towels tend to mold however. Google it. I'm serious.
