Sorry, Heady Topper didn't do it for me ;-P

Here's the one's that did me from memory, IPAs being very fresh:

    PtY
    PtE
    Dreadnaught
    Alpine's Bad Boy
    Pizza Port's Poorman's DIPA
    BCBS Rare
    Speedway Stout
    2 year old kegged Supplication
    Beatification
St. Bernardus Abt 12 aged a little over a year
    2003 Bigfoot drank last year

(For those of you willing to trade a King Henry...I'd love to add to this list if you'd be so kind as to trade with me......I'm a Scorpio, I enjoy long walks on the beach, Snowboarding, UFC, and Baseball)

    Yours fellow BA's?

One of my epiphany moments was with Two Brothers' Cane & Ebel. It's an amazing brew and it made me realize how enormously important mouthfeel can be in a beer. The taste is solid, but it's the feel of that beer that really puts it into a class of its own.

Another was a 2007 Bigfoot which proved to me that aging can be greatly beneficial to beer.

There have been many, but here are the beers that made me really excited:

Buckeye Brewing Amarillo IPA - The Summer of 2007, this solid yet unspectacular brewery had this gem on the whole season. It was maybe the single best IPA I've ever had, and I have had many. Unfortunately the brewer can't find enough Amarillo to brew this again(or so I have been told).

Cantillon Bourgogne Lambic - Best beer I have ever had.

Iron Hill Oak Aged Old Tom - Happened to be in Wilmington when this was tapped and it was a spectacular and interesting beer. I have never had anything quite like it. Anybody remember this beer?

My most recent beer epiphany was when I organized my cellar the other night. I need to get drinking ASAP.

Schlenkerla Maerzen. First epiphany (I thought) was the shock of the liquid bacon taste in a beer. But the true epiphany was after I made it to #4, when the base Maerzen emerged and I realized that the genius of this beer doesn't lie in its immediate, bold flavors, but rather in its underlying subtle, balanced, nuanced characteristics.

Dundee Porter - Not the greatest beer but it was my first Porter and starter of my love for dark sweet beers.

I have had tons of being amazed moments by how good something was but that first taste of porter and the realization on what I had missed out on up to that point will always be a little moment I will remember.

Even before Samuel Adams Triple Bock hit my lips, I knew that my parents had lied. There were monsters in this world. I also knew what I had to do. Take off and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

    GAME OVER MAN. GAME OVER.
