Beer fest recovery time?...

    How long do you take to recover from a beer fest? Quick? Slow? When do you quaff your next brew?
    I finished a beer fest last Saturday afternoon around 3 o'clock. Sampled around 24 beers at 2oz per.
    So about 4 total beers (seemed like more). Didn't have my next beer till Monday night. (9-10pm?)
    So a little over 2 days before I could look at and drink another beer.

    How about you?

    I usually go out to the bar after a beer festival, so it depends on how much I drink at the bar that night haha

    What totally baffles me is why so many fests/releases are on Saturdays rather than Sundays. I just can't understand it....someone please help me out here

    I only regularly go to one or two festivals a year, and they're held at a location that is about a 10-15 minute walk through the park (literally) back to my house. We usually host an after-party. So... I guess my recovery time is 10-15 minutes plus however long of a line there is to use my bathroom when we get back.

    if i drank the equivalent of 4 beers at a beer fest i'd drink another 16 when i got home

    Sometimes I drink 4 beers on a weeknight, go to work early the next day and have some more brews the following night. Never been to a beer fest before but I'm guessing based on comparison I would recover faster than you.

    About 36 hours, then I'm good to go. But I drink way more than the equivalent of 4 beers at a festival.

    Never been to a beer fest, but if I did I'm sure I would need a day to recover. I'm thinking that I would drink quite a bit more than 4 beers.

    Recovery time would depend on how intoxicated I became. Four beers would not necessitate any sort of recovery time for me, but if I did drink enough to need one, I'd probably say about 48 hours.

    Just drink a bit of water after a few samples, hydrate your good to go. No needed recovery time.

    Usually I'm good a few hours after I get home and take a nap. There was one time though where I went to a homebrew fest and wanted to die from about thirty minutes after I left until the following afternoon.
