What are some beer fests in USA that have an on-site camping option? I know BCTC and formerly the VA Craft Brewers Fest. Any others?
Belgium comes to Cooperstown http://www.ommegang.com/#!cooperstown Broo'ers (a small beer fest within a larger Festival include several other things) https://www.bonnaroo.com/experience/food/
This is a great question and I think it would be awesome if we could ultimately create a list. I'm very interested in this subject too! While I've not been to it ....yet ....I understand Oskar Blues Burning Can offer's camping options. http://www.burningcan.com/nc-camping. If I attend I'll post something. Meanwhile here's a great video Ben Lolli shot last year:
New England Homebrewers Jamboree http://www.homebrewersjamboree.com/ The Vermont Brewers Festival does not have onsite, but there is a state campground within walking distance. I used to camp there for the festival weekend and hit a session or two of the fest. You need to make reservations really early now though. http://vtbrewfest.com/
Made in the Shade - Flagstaff, AZ used to have on-site camping (havent been or lived in AZ for years now, so it may not still be the case). The years I went and camped were a lot of fun. Probably had more fun in the campground than the actual fest. It was a mix between a giant party, beer share/tasting with strangers, and camp party. Also helps that you dont have to worry about driving afterwards.
You could always start looking for music festivals with camping, like Electric Forest. Bell's throws a pool party with free beer and great BBQ (also free) the first night. Last year the craft tent must have had at least 50 beers on tap. I enjoyed myself....to say the least.
