    I think BA should have an area that people can post for upcoming festivals (if there is not already an area that I haven't come across). Would be cool to see what other BAs are going and to maybe even meet up.

    I guess beer fests and those kind of things. For instance, I am planning on going to Hibrewnation in York, PA on 2/10. Would be cool to see what other BAs are going and maybe even meet up there or afterwards at some breweries around there. That kinda thing.

    Can we add also beer fests from the Netherlands?
    I am from the Netherlands, although i think that is not a good idea, because here on BA are more people from the USA

    Hey - wait - when did events change? Only a few weeks ago there was the ability to add events, but now it looks like the only events are Beeradvocate hosted, and we can't add them.

    I don't see any general events calendar any more, just BA-hosted events??

    We're in the process of pulling it as the calendar section is barely used these days. Instead, we'll be shifting toward a Beer Events forum for major events and discussions as that's what people want.

    More updates to follow...

    For those following this thread, would you prefer an "Event" prefix in existing regional forums or a Beer Events forum with regional prefixes?

    I think I'd go along with Bierman9 and prefer something in each regional forum. If a sub-forum is created for festivals, can it be further broken down by state?

    I'm not sure there was anything wrong with it but rather that it was not very utilized (just knowing NC and all of the things going on, there were usually only a handful of events per month listed).
