I meant to post on here to see if anyone was going to Craft Beer Rising last weekend at the Old Truman Brewery. I had a blast getting to try such a wide selection of breweries for the first time. Are there any other beer festivals worth putting on the calendar?

London area try ... Egham Beer Festival (3 per year - 35 mins from Waterloo, next over Easter weekend) is always a good one - focus on new breweries opened in the last year, Brodies Bunny Basher at the William IV is another I'd reccomend (again Easter weekend), The Le Gothique festival (Wandsworth - 2 per year, next one this month) is a goodun on the Wednesday its £25 all you can drink, and theres a new one on the calender at CBC Clapham in April.

Any opinions on the CAMRA festivals in Maldon, Farnham, and Bath in April?

Sorry for the thread hijack JSOBB!

    Farnham is local to me.

It's a ticket lottery system, always oversubscribed, it's likely sold out already.

That said the beer list is on the 'trad' side and has never appealed to me.

If you're in the area in April, see Egham above.
